Photo Selection
-

BEFORE
THE MAIN PICTURE
DOES NOT
MAKE THE WOMAN BUSINESS LIKE, BUT RATHER LIKE AN INTERRUPTING COLLEAGUE

STOCK IMAGES -- TO AVOID

Layout
1. Visual effects

BEFORE
AVOID VISUAL CONFUSION BETWEEN 2 SEPARATE ITEMS (ADVERTISEMENT AND TEXT) BY ENSURING
COLOUR BREAK
2. In content driven magazine favour the text over the image

BAD EXAMPLE
THE PHOTO AND THE TITLE TAKE OVER 1/3RD OF THE PAGE SPACE, DIVERTING ATTENTION FROM THE REAL ADDED VALUE:
THE TEXT
3. Check that the quotes are impactful (Readers must REMEMBER THEM)

BAD EXAMPLE
The quote is too long and can't be remembered.
4. Remove any useless photo
